I have been animating for 4 years as of now and am a self taught 2D VFX-animator for two years. For me the road to learning is never ending, always finding a new way to push myself to learn something new.

I draw inspiration from dynamics, action and effects, especially the small details that are almost invisible. A simple flame, bubbles in a drink or sand blowing over the beach can hold my attention for hours. Being someone who craves understanding how something works, you’ll often catch me replaying a video frame by frame just to spot how something moves and how the environment reacts.

The action and reaction of the world is mesmerizing for me, from a car crash to a small line of smoke emitting from a cigarette, it all has the same charm for me.

2D VFX is a niche that I find much fulfillment in. Knowing it is just a small part of a bigger project, but making it all come together is something I’ll never shut up about, often comparing it to a bass player in a band, you might not notice when they’re playing, but you’ll definitely notice when they’re not there.
